A press conference devoted to the final stage of preparation for the main international event in Russia in 2019 (the 45th WorldSkills Kazan 2019 World Championship) was held on July 19 according to TASS.

Teams from 63 countries and regions (more than 1,300 girls and young men under 25) of the world will fight for medals at the site of the Kazan Expo international exhibition center. A 10,000 square meters separate pavilion will be dedicated to the future professions of “Future Skills”, the demand for which increases with the advent of the digital economy.

The championship will also become a place for a meeting of the world expert community, thanks to which standards of professional skill are being formed as an answer to requests from the real sector of the economy, as well as a starting point for solving solutions to world personnel problems of the future economy.

At the last press conference opposed: Robert Urazov, Director General of the Young Professionals Union (WorldSkills Russia); WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Project Manager, Directorate for Sports and Social Projects (Kazan) Emil Gubaidullin; Deputy Director General for the Organization of Championships for Standards WS Federal and international level of the Young Professionals (Worldwide Russia) Union -Karina Salikova; Russia’s official delegate to WorldSkills International, Deputy General Director for Research and Development Union “Young professionals (Worldskills Russia)”- Ekaterina Loshkareva and other representatives of companies and corporations.

WorldSkills Kazan 2019 will be held on from 22 to 27 August in Kazan. The capital of Tatarstan received the right to hold this event in 2015, according to the results of voting by all countries that are members of the international movement WorldSkills International (currently it is 81 countries). In Russia, WorldSkills Russia covers all 85 regions of the country.
